Manufacturing members at Novembal ratify new five-year contract – UFCW 1991P
Rawdon, Que. – April 8, 2021 – Members at Novembal manufacturing unanimously ratified a new five-year collective agreement that will see salary increases of 10.5 percent over the life of the contract.
“Congratulations to the negotiating committee for renewing this contract,” says Mario Maisonneuve, President UFCW 1991-P. “The new collective agreement allows these members to consolidate their jobs while maintaining a level of decent working conditions in the Lanaudière region.”
Highlights of the new contract include: increased premiums for day and night shift, trainer bonuses, premiums for fork lift operators, in addition to adding a defined contribution pension plan and two additional flex days.
