As the hospitality sector recovers from the pandemic, careers in the culinary arts and the service sector are poised to lead Canada’s economic recovery.  

The professional cook pre-apprenticeship is designed to give the learner flexibility to work through course material at their own pace with interactive tools and exercises that provide a unique introduction to the culinary experience.

UFCW Canada’s pre-apprenticeship training programs are under review by provincial trades authorities as a designated provider of apprenticeship training meaning course completion can count towards a professional trade certification.
