Build your resume and job search skills with new webCampus course, Employment Strategies

Toronto – April 24, 2020 – There are many reasons to look for a job – whether it be a layoff, a desire to advance, or recent life changes. And there are common feelings that accompany this event, including fear, apprehension, doubt, and uncertainty.

Sometimes these feelings prevent us from putting in the effort needed to get us closer to a job. Luckily, UFCW Canada’s ground-breaking online education program, webCampus, has a new course that can help build your courage, support your goals, and encourage your confidence when writing your resume and searching for a job.

So, if you’re ready to find a job, or you are thinking that it’s time for a change, webCampus’ Employment Strategies is the ideal course for you.

The objectives of Employment Strategies are:

  • To familiarize participants with the steps involved in the job search process;
  • To assist participants in writing a resume and cover letter and preparing for job interviews; and
  • To help build participants’ confidence when embarking on a job search program.

Enrollment for the new webCampus course, Employment Strategies, is now open. Courses are completely free of charge, and are available to all UFCW Canada members, family members, and community partners. To enroll in the course, or to learn more about UFCW’s cutting-edge online education program, visit the webCampus website today.
