Toronto – December 18, 2019 – Congratulations to UFCW Local 1518 member Jaime Emerson, winner of the UFCW Bakes Cake Decorating Contest!

Jaime is a Pharmacy Assistant and proud UFCW 1518 member who works at Save On Foods in Abbotsford, B.C. Her name was randomly selected from dozens of entries for the contest, which asked UFCW members and family members to submit photos of their most creative and delicious-looking cakes for a chance to win a $100 grocery store gift card.

Sister Emerson’s submission – pictured at right – was bright and colourful with an intricate design and immaculate presentation. 

“Thank you to all of the members and family members who participated in this year’s UFCW Bakes Cake Decorating Contest,” says UFCW Canada National President Paul Meinema. “The creativity and passion shown by members and their families was truly impressive.”
