Val-d’Or, Que. – August 20, 2018 – UFCW Local 501 members at Molson-Coors recently achieved a new union contract that will benefit 115 members and their families, as well as the local economies of three different communities in Quebec.

Working at Molson-Coors locations in Quebec City, Trois-Rivières and Val-d’Or, the Local 501 members will see a number of gains with their new UFCW contract, including:

• Annual wage increases between 1 and 1.5 percent for members at the end rate on the wage scale

• $1,000 signing bonus

• $500 lump sum payment in the second year of the deal

• Increase to the defined-contribution pension plan for the optional portion of employees at level 7

• $250 per year of eligibility for putting money into a RRSP

• $55 premium for night stays away from home

• Increase to the boot allowance
