Toronto – July 24, 2018 – The UFCW Canada family is mourning the loss of one of our members, Reese Fallon, who tragically lost her life during the mass shooting in Toronto on July 22.

Reese, a retail food worker and member of UFCW Local 1006A, was set to begin university in the fall, and planned to pursue a career in nursing. She was loved by her friends at work and fellow union members, who are shocked and deeply saddened by her passing. 

Our thoughts and prayers are with Reese’s family and friends, and with all the victims of this tragedy and their loved ones.

It is more important than ever to support each other during this difficult time.
