Winnipeg – May 25, 2018 – UFCW Canada Local 832 members working in inventory control (IC) at Sysco have ratified a new five-year collective agreement.

Sysco Food Services is a food distribution warehouse that supplies restaurants with food items and small wares. UFCW Canada Local 832 represents approximately 130 employees at the warehouse, 6 of whom work in inventory control.

Over the life of the contract, members will see their wages rise to $25.65 an hour. The bargaining committee was also able to obtain improvements to the health and welfare plan and increased premiums of 20 cents per hour.
