Boisbriand, Que. – March 27, 2017 – UFCW Canada Local 1991P members working at Mondiv in Boisbriand, Quebec recently achieved their first collective agreement.

Mondiv is a division of Lassonde Specialities, which manufactures high-quality food products such as sauces, broths, marinades, and soups.

The more than 100 members at Mondiv work as cooks, machine operators, forklift operators, electromechanical technicians, carpenters, and in production.

The new agreement brings wage adjustments of 1.3 percent and raises of 2.25 percent per year. It also acknowledges the summer months as prime vacation time for members.

As well, under the new contract, the Mondiv members will receive three personal leave days, long-term disability, and life insurance. The three-year collective agreement will run until September 30, 2019.
