Toronto – January 20, 2017 – Canada's leading union for young workers has launched an innovative, new webinar series entitled Impact. The Impact webinar series brings together young activists from across the country to engage ideas on how to impact the world they work and live in.

The Impact webinar series will take a look at a variety of topics affecting young workers today including how to empower young workers, how to call out discrimination and oppression, getting the environmental message out, and three additional webinars in this first series. Each live, one-hour webinar session features a new guest speaker in an interactive webinar format where participants can ask questions and make their voices heard.

The first session of the Impact webinar series takes place on January 30 at 8 p.m. (EST) and is titled, "Creating Space: How to bring others with you." This English-language session will be hosted by UFCW Canada activist Pablo Godoy, and will immerse participants with new ideas and strategies on how to empower young workers to get them more involved in the labour movement.
