Winnipeg – October 12, 2016 – UFCW Canada Local 832 members working at VersaCold Transport have unanimously ratified a new collective agreement.

VersaCold specializes in the warehousing and logistics of temperature-sensitive products.

During the life of the new four-year deal, wages will increase by $1.80 per hour. Members will also receive increases in shift premiums. The first scheduled wage increase is retroactive to January 1, 2016.

"The unanimous vote for this contract reaffirms the belief that this deal was fair and reasonable for the members working at VersaCold," says UFCW Canada Local 832 President Jeff Traeger. "I would like to thank the negotiating committee for achieving this deal at the bargaining table."
