Saskatoon, Sask. – October 6, 2015 – UFCW Canada Local 1400 members working at Impact Security in Saskatoon have recently ratified a new three-year collective agreement.

Impact Security Group is the largest privately owned security provider across Western Canada, and provides a wide range of security solutions to protect assets, information and people.

The new three-year agreement provides numerous gains to members, including wage increases and changes in language to reflect changes to minimum wage in Saskatchewan. Uniforms will now be paid for by the employer and the safety shoe allowance has now been increased to $150. There is also new language regarding special events casual employees.

The contract also maintains the workers' benefit plan.
