Louiseville, Que. – July 3, 2015 —Workers at Serval Canada Foods are the newest members of UFCW Canada Local 503 after recently voting to join the union.

The new Local 503 members work as mechanics, labourers, lathe operators, and lift truck operators at the Serval Canada Foods production plant in Louiseville, Quebec.

"By adding their voice to Canada's leading union for food workers, the Serval Canada Foods members have chosen a union that understands their needs in the workplace," says UFCW Canada Local 503 President Louise Lefebvre.

"We very proudly welcome the new members to UFCW, and we will do everything we possibly can to provide high quality representation to these workers," Sister Lefebvre adds.
