Members at Grande Meadow Golf Course achieve new contract – UFCW 1252

Frenchman’s Cove, N.L. – June 23, 2015 – UFCW Canada Local 1252 members employed at Grande Meadow Golf Course Association Inc. have achieved a new collective agreement. The members ratified the new four-year contract on May 28, 2015.

The golf course, located in Frenchman's Cove, Newfoundland is the most southerly course in the province and features a clubhouse with a restaurant catering to golfers and non-golfers alike.

The new contract includes wage increases of 30 cents in Year 1; 35 cents in Year 2; 35 cents in year 3; and 40 cents in Year 4. Premium is increased from 75 cents to $1.15 per hour.

UFCW Canada Local 1252 and the Eastern Provinces Council would like to thank the negotiating committee members Peter Mylog, Crystal Tibbo and national Representative Dave Hann, as well as the entire Grande meadow Golf Course Association membership for staying committed to their beliefs during the bargaining process.
