Members at Savoura Danville join the union – UFCW 501

Montreal – January 8, 2015 – UFCW Canada Local 501 is proud to welcome new members employed at the Danville greenhouse of Les Serres du Saint-Laurent (Savoura). They join other Local 501 members already represented at other Savoura facilities.

The newest members at Savoura join forces with thousands of other Local 501 members throughout the province to protect their interests, in addition to helping to expand the UFCW Canada’s position within the labour movement, with more than 45,000 members at the provincial level and, more broadly, with some 250,000 members across the country.
