DIRECTIONS now published twice a week

UFCW Canada’s national news bulletin DIRECTIONS is now published twice a week. The award winning e-newsletter is upping its weekly production to make sure UFCW Canada activists, friends and supporters have the timeliest information about Canada’s most progressive union and the national issues facing UFCW Canada members and their families.

“As one of Canada’s leading forces for progressive change, UFCW Canada is always looking for better ways to distribute the information that matters to the membership and our community allies,” says UFCW Canada National President Wayne Hanley. “The ability to mobilize workers is an essential part of creating a better, fairer Canada, and as a movement we must always be committed to creating higher communication standards.”

Since DIRECTIONS was first launched as a weekly publication in November 2007, the national news bulletin has gone from a black and white paper one-sheet, to a colour publication and then to  the digital format of today.
