UFCW Canada members, family members, and social justice partners are free to sign-up for the newest webCampus course — Introduction to Canadian Politics.
This 15-hour online course has just been launched in French (the course in English is also available). The introductory course will raise your awareness and understanding of how Canada’s parliamentary system works — and what a time to learn just following the recent federal election!
In the Introduction to Canadian Politics course, participants will explore the following topics to gain a better understanding of the Canadian political system:
- Parliamentary Government – how it operates
- Our Constitution
- Powers of the Federal and Provincial governments
- The roles of the Governor-General, the Senate, and the Prime Minister
- Political Parties
