Halifax – December 12, 2025 – UFCW Eastern Provinces Council is thrilled to welcome 91 new members to Local 864 in Halifax as First Defence Security joins UFCW Canada.
Toronto – December 10, 2025 – More than 2,500 Starbucks baristas in the United States are on strike for better pay, fair schedules, respect on the job, and an end to union-busting.
Montreal – December 9 2025 – The United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local 501 (UFCW 501), welcomes a major decision by the Tribunal administratif du travail (Labor Relations Board) in the ongoing unionization campaign at Emballages Mercato Inc.
Saskatoon – December 5, 2025 – For Giving Tuesday, the Saskatchewan local unions, UFCW 1400, 649 and 248P made donations to the Prince Albert, Regina and Saskatoon Food Banks.
