Again this year, tens of thousands of participants marched proudly together along René-Lévesque Boulevard at the Montreal Pride parade to celebrate diversity and the LGBT community.
The 34th Annual Vancouver Pride Parade recently kicked off in the city’s West End under blue skies and sizzling heat. This year, an enthusiastic group of UFCW Canada Local 1518 activists proudly marched with members of the parade’s Multi-Union Pride delegation.

A large group of UFCW Canada activists came out on July 1 to the Toronto Pride Parade to support human rights and inclusiveness, and join thousands at one of the city’s largest annual public celebrations.

UFCW Canada Local 401, Alberta's largest private sector local union, along with approximately 20,000 other partipants were loud and proud at the 2012 Edmonton Pride Parade, organized by the Edmonton Pride Festival Society.

UFCW Canada, along with Locals 1000A and Locals 175 & 633 will gather in Toronto to celebrate PRIDE on July 1, 2012. The parade will begin at 2 p.m. and there will be a UFCW 175 & 633 contingent, along with a strong presence from UFCW Local 1000A taking part in this walk. “Toronto Pride parade is the largest of its kind in Canada. We are proud to stand in unity with our LGBTQ brothers and sisters and we encourage the participation of our vast membership at this exciting event”, says Wayne Hanley, National President.
