Horticulture members at Premier Tech secure new contract – UFCW 401
Olds, Alta. – May 5, 2022 – UFCW 401 members at Premier Tech recently secured a new five-year collective agreement that increases wages, benefits, pensions, and more.
The new contract was ratified by a margin of 97 percent in favour and will see wages increase by 12 percent for production and over 15 percent for maintenance and tradespersons over the life of the agreement.
In addition to the wage increases, members will also enjoy a retroactive lump sum payment and increases to pension contributions, benefits coverage, boot and tool allowances, health and safety language, and the introduction of dignity and respect language.
