Drivers at ALSCO join the union – UFCW 401
Edmonton – February 18, 2022 – Drivers at ALSCO are the newest members to join UFCW 401 after a successful certification vote that will see approximately 20 drivers join the union.
“From the moment we met with ALSCO drivers, it was clear they were committed to achieving a fair union contract,” says UFCW 401 Executive Director Chris O’Halloran. “With the union’s support, these members have strengthened their voice and their ability to improve working conditions.”
ALSCO drivers deliver industrial workwear, uniforms, linens, mats, and other products across Alberta ensuring workplaces meet the highest standards for hygiene and safety. Drivers organized to improve their working conditions and address health and safety concerns with management.
