Shawinigan, Que. – January 23, 2017 — Workers at the Bulk Barn store in Shawinigan, Quebec are the newest members of UFCW Canada Local 500 after saying “Yes!” to joining the union.

The Shawinigan members are the third group of Bulk Barn workers to join Local 500.

“We are very proud and happy to welcome the Bulk Barn workers into the UFCW family,” says Antonio Filato, the President of UFCW Canada Local 500. “Our union is committed to providing members with excellent representation in the workplace, and we look forward to negotiating a contract that meets the needs of the Bulk Barn workers in Shawinigan,” he adds.
