Fear & Intimidation in the Workplace
It's one thing to find your job challenging, but it is something totally different to feel the fear and intimidation that exist in a poisoned work atmosphere. Examples of a poisoned environment can include verbal attacks or demeaning language, putting someone in an embarrassing situation, or centring a person with the intent of humiliation. Often the actions that cause fear and intimidation are also the sources of harassment.
In this course, participants will:
- Understand the many different forms of intimidation and harassment
- Learn the legal rights of employees and obligations of the employer
-
Learn how to be assertive
