Donations now accepted for terminated Rol-Land workers

Across the country Canadians are showing they care for the more than 120 foreign farm workers who were recently abruptly terminated and evicted by Rol-Land Farms in Guelph, Ontario.

These workers, in Canada under the federal government Temporary Worker Program, had expected to work in Canada for two years. For many of them it ended up being less than three months — causing them and their families emotional and financial hardship just as the Holiday Season arrives.

A number of social justice groups, including the Agriculture Workers Alliance, and Justicia for Migrant Workers  have been helping the former Rol-Land workers since their termination. Join these efforts and show these workers the true heart of Canada through your donation to a special fund to assist the former Rol-Land workers
