UFCW Canada denounces Bill 8, demands Quebec government stop discriminating against the most vulnerable
Toronto – October 24, 2014 – UFCW Canada expresses shock and dismay with Quebec’s Liberal government for ramming through legislation that has the potential to strip many agriculture workers of their basic human rights.


Montreal – October 23, 2014 – UFCW Canada activists recently joined with hundreds of members of indigenous organizations, community groups and the labour movement for Take Back the Night for Aboriginal Women held at Émilie-Gamelin Park in Montreal.
Toronto – October 20, 2014 – This past June, hundreds of UFCW Canada activists and community allies marched in the Toronto Trans Rally and March during the World Pride Festival, in solidarity with transgender people who too often face discrimination and violence because of their gender identity.
