Toronto – February 5, 2015 – In Canada, the Supreme Court recently affirmed workers' right to strike as essential to meaningful collective bargaining. It is now Canada’s responsibility to support this decision at the international level.

Toronto – January 19, 2015 – A new report released by Oxfam, the anti-poverty charity, reveals that the richest 1% of adults in the world increased their share of the world’s total wealth from 44% in 2009 to 48% in 2014.
Toronto – January 9, 2015 – In the 2011 federal election, Con boss Harper won a majority government even though only 39% of those who voted, voted Conservative. A majority of Canadians, 61%, voted against Harper but Harper rules.

Ottawa – November 28, 2014 – On Wednesday, a motion to defeat Private Member's Bill C-377, Stephen Harper’s attack on workers and their unions, was rejected by the Senate.
