UFCW Canada joins campaign to expose Chevron’s Dirty Hand
Toronto – November 5, 2014 – As Canada’s most progressive union, UFCW Canada is supporting the Chevron’s Dirty Hand Tour, a campaign demanding justice for thousands of indigenous people who have been poisoned, displaced, or killed by Chevron’s devastation of the environment around the world.
New Target executives still oblivious to what Canadians want

Martensville, Sask. – October 29, 2014 – Richardson Milling, the largest oat miller in North America, is devastating the lives of UFCW Canada Local 1400 members and their families in Martensville, Saskatchewan by refusing to negotiate with employees and put an end to its seven-week lockout of Local 1400 members.
UFCW activists Light the Night from coast to coast
Toronto – October 27, 2014 – On the same evening in three different provinces, UFCW Canada activists, friends and family raised a combined total of more than $200,000 for blood cancer research and awareness. On October 18, members of UFCW Canada in Halifax, Montreal and Vancouver joined with thousands of walkers for annual Light the Night fundraising events.
