UFCW Local 1000A activists Bowl for a Cure for sickle cell disease
Toronto – December 10, 2014 – UFCW 1000A activists from across the Toronto-area recently gathered for the annual UFCW Canada Local 1000A Bowl for a Cure tournament in support of finding a cure for sickle cell disease (SCD).



Toronto – December 6, 2014 – UFCW Canada stands in support of the Ryerson Students' Union's Freeze the Fees campaign, which has called on the Ryerson University administration to freeze tuition fees.
Montreal – December 2, 2014 – A large contingent of UFCW Canada members, activists, and Quebec Local Union leaders took part in simultaneous marches held in Montreal and Quebec City on November 29th, to take a stand against the austerity measures announced by provincial Premiere Philippe Couillard and his Liberal government.
