CALM 2013: Communicating the importance of fairness and sustainability
Edmonton – March 31, 2013 – Registration for the 2013 CALM Conference is now open. This year’s CALM conference will be held in Edmonton, Alberta from May 23 to May 25, when participants will have the opportunity to focus on the best ways to communicate the importance of fairness, good jobs, and the sustainability of communities.

Toronto – March 23, 2013 – The first week of the S.A.M.E. Tour 2013 across Ontario was a huge hit with thousands of students. The tour was launched on March 18, and coincided with Migrant Worker Awareness Week. Continuing through the week, ten S.A.M.E. (Students Against Migrant Exploitation) youth volunteers hosted awareness-raising seminars, videos, musical performances, and in-classroom projects to engage students about the challenges and hardships faced by migrant workers in Canada.
