Tuning in to the neighbourhood

For many Canadian workers, radio is making a big comeback, and for many others, it never stopped being an important part of their daily lives. At least that’s the impression Pablo Godoy is left with after successfully launching his new radio program Barrio Nuevo – La Esquina, which is Spanish for “The New Neighbourhood – Around the Corner”.

 Maternity, Paternity and ParentalGuide
UFCW Canada members who are new or expectant parents will have some new help this year in trying to figure out what their rights and entitlements are as workers and new parents. The UFCW Canada Guide to Maternity, Paternity & Parental Leaves from Work, initi­ated by UFCW Canada’s National Women’s Advisory Committee, was recently made available to help members make sense of an often-complicated benefits system.
