Puslinch, Ont. – February 19, 2025 – In a significant move towards achieving better working conditions, workers at Morriston Park Nursing Home in Puslinch have voted to join UFCW Local 175. The decision reflects a growing trend among healthcare employees who are looking to UFCW to fight for fair wages, improved benefits, and safer working environments.
Toronto – February 18, 2025 – UFCW 1006A members at MEC (Mountain Equipment Company) in Toronto have ratified their first union contract.
Washington, D.C. – February 13, 2025 – UFCW Canada National President Shawn Haggerty joined a delegation of Canadian and American labour leaders yesterday in Washington, D.C., to meet with the Canadian premiers to discuss the damage that U.S. tariffs will have on workers and industries on both sides of the border.
