Register now to Come and Celebrate #MyUFCWPride

Toronto – June 20, 2014 – As part of World Pride 2014, UFCW Canada is teaming up with the Mayworks Festival of Working People and the Arts for the event Come and Celebrate Your UFCW Pride. The free drop-in extravaganza will be held on June 28 from 10AM to 4PM at the Sheraton Centre Hotel.

Come and Celebrate Your UFCW Prideis a labour-themed LGBT2S arts showcase, featuring Mariela Castro, a renowned human rights activist from Cuba’s Cenesex Centre for Sexual Health. The showcase offers participants an opportunity to network with local and international activists, grab some refreshments during Pride Toronto, and listen to live music. Members of UFCW’s OUTreach group from Canada and the United States will join the festivities. Through solidarity and joint advocacy work, OUTreach works to strengthen support for LGBT2S communities throughout North America.
