Toronto – June 16, 2014 – With the high school year coming to a close, graduates across the country are setting their sights on college or university. To help with the rising cost of tuition, Canada's best union is offering a total of 18 UFCW Canada – BDM Scholarships of $1,000 each to UFCW Canada members and their family members.

If you are a UFCW Canada member, you, your spouse and children are eligible to apply for the opportunity to win a UFCW Canada – BDM Scholarship if the student is attending full-time studies at a Canadian university, college, or other post-secondary institution.

Apply online for your chance to win a $1,000 scholarship. The deadline is September 30.

Canada’s leading union is also offering members the chance to win one of two iPads by simply referring other eligible students to also apply for a UFCW Canada – BDM Scholarship. The more referrals you make, the better your chances of winning an IPad. The IPad contest also ends September 30.
