webcampus ufcw canada local 1400 melody starkBethune, Saskatchewan – September 19, 2013 – Melody Stark is a UFCW Canada Local 1400 member and activist, and a true believer in the webCampus values and benefits of taking courses at her own pace. Recently, she proudly earned a double certificate in Labour Studies and Labour Studies in Occupational Health and Safety; both accredited by the Mohawk College.

Melody works as a security guard in Bethune, Saskatchewan and has been a Shop Steward for the past four years. She is also actually involved with the Moose Jaw Wakamow NDP riding association on a number of committees; with the Prairie School for Union Women; and as a member and activist with a number of other community and social justice organizations.

Thanks to the flexibility of webCampus, Melody is able to participate in all these activities, while still being able to upgrade her skills and education.

“The convenience and quality of webCampus online learning is tremendous," says Sister Stark. As a result of what I've learned through webCampus, I am now also stepping up to giving presentations and facilitating classes to share my knowledge with others.”

Congratulations Melody!
