CoDev's Board of Directors presented the AWA's Surrey and Abbotsford Support Centres with the 2013 Solidarity Award at their 28th Annual Solidarity and Fundraising Dinner in Vancouver. The event was attended by several representatives from British Columbia's labour movement, as well as local solidarity groups and grassroots community organizations.

The Surrey Support Centre invited workers from various farms to attend the ceremony, share in the celebration, and officially receive the award on behalf of the AWA, which represents and provides services to thousands of migrant farm workers at ten support centres across Canada.
