Casino workers ratify first collective agreement – UFCW 832

Carberry, Man. – June 3, 2026 – UFCW 832 members at Sand Hills Casino ratified their first collective agreement on May 21.

The new one-year agreement maintains all current benefits for members while delivering wage increases ranging from 2.5% to 8.5%, depending on classification and length of service.

“This was an important first agreement that protects what members already had while also securing meaningful wage increases across the workplace,” said UFCW 832 negotiator Joe Carreiro. “I want to thank the bargaining committee for all of their hard work, dedication, and support throughout negotiations. Their commitment helped us reach a strong deal for the membership.”
