Healthcare workers join union – UFCW 175
Ottawa – June 2, 2026 – Nearly 200 employees at Partners in Parenting in Ottawa have voted to join UFCW Local 175.
The new members voted to join the union because of concerns over wages, benefits, respect, fairness, and more: these healthcare workers are looking forward to building a strong first collective agreement. These new members work as facilitators, residential support workers, and mental health support workers for a variety of programs across 13 locations in Ottawa.
