Manufacturing members at Fin Aire achieve new contract – UFCW 175
Belleville, Ont. – February 13, 2026 – UFCW Canada Local 175 members working at Fin Aire in Belleville, Ontario have recently ratified a new four-year collective agreement, bringing wage increases, improved benefits, and more.
Under the new contract, wages for all rates and progressions will rise steadily over the term: 4% in the first year, 3.5% in both the second and third years, and 3% in the fourth year. The deal also includes an important cost-of-living safeguard: if Canada’s Consumer Price Index exceeds 4% in any year, members will receive the higher adjustment to ensure their wages keep pace with inflation.
Members will also see a boost to their safety and clothing benefits, with the allowance for boots and work clothing increasing by 11%.
