Hotel workers build better life – UFCW 1006A

Toronto – July 31, 2025 – UFCW 1006A members at Cambridge Suites Hotel in Toronto have ratified a new union contract.

The contract term is July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2028 and covers 60 members.

Highlights include wage increases of 15 per cent for members, additional sick leave and bereavement leaves, increases to benefits and pension plans, and more.

“I am proud to congratulate our members at Cambridge Suites Hotel on their new union contract,” said President Wayne Hanley. “UFCW 1006A is the best union for hotel workers in Ontario, helping our members consistently achieve strong gains to their wages and benefits through negotiations."
