Food manufacturing members at Aliments Morehouse achieve first contract – UFCW 1991-P
Laval, Que. – July 30, 2025 – UFCW Local 1991-P members working at Aliments Morehouse have achieved their first collective agreement providing wage increases, benefits, a pension plan, and more.
The new three-year contract includes:
- Retroactive wage increases of $0.50 to $4.50 per hour
- Annual raises between 2.5% and 2.6%, with the potential to reach 3% based on inflation
- Access to the UFCW Québec Dental Plan, fully paid by the employer
- A new pension plan with contributions from both the employer and employees (up to 2%)
- Up to five floating or sick days per year
Aliments Morehouse is one of North America’s leading condiment manufacturers that produces sauces for both retail and food service. The Laval, Quebec facility serves as the main production site for condiments distributed across the country. UFCW Local 1991-P members work in a variety of roles, including food preparation, maintenance, production, sanitation, forklift operation, and quality control.
