2026 UFCW Canada Indigenous Calendar: Call for Artwork
Toronto – July 9, 2025 – The UFCW Canada National Indigenous Committee is pleased to once again collaborate with the Assembly of Seven Generations, a national youth-led organization, in gathering and selecting artwork to form part of the 2026 UFCW Canada Indigenous Calendar.
Indigenous Youth Art Contest 2025
The theme for the 2026 calendar is Landscapes of Turtle Island. Indigenous youth ages 5-29 are encouraged to submit their artwork. Seven art submissions will be selected for the calendar. Winners will receive a $250.00 honorarium if their artwork is selected.
How to submit:
- Choose one landscape for your art piece.
- Submit your art piece (in jpeg format) via email to [email protected].
- Label the email subject line: UFCW Canada Calendar.
- Provide a short bio of who you are and the community or nation you are from in the body of the email.
Open to Indigenous (First Nation, Métis & Inuit) youth only!
Only one submission per person. Deadline to submit is August 15, 2025.
