Members at Chalet Malouin build better life – UFCW 832
St. Malo, Man. – April 22, 2024 – UFCW 832 members working at Chalet Malouin’s seniors’ retirement home have voted yes to a new collective agreement, including increased wages and other benefits.
Highlights of the new agreement include a one float day for part-time workers, a large increase to sick-time and sick-time bank, an increase to the health spending account and RRSP match, and more. In addition, there is a 6.5% increase to wages over the term, front-loaded to the start of the agreement to acknowledge the high level of inflation that workers are facing right now.
