Healthcare professionals at Dynacare join the union – UFCW 175 & 633

Mississauga, Ont. – March 3, 2023 – Over 70 healthcare professionals at Dynacare Laboratories across Southern Ontario are celebrating an organizing victory following a successful certification vote earlier in the year.

“As healthcare providers, these workers appreciate the value of joining and belonging to a Union,” says UFCW 175 President Shawn Haggerty. “They have some very real and important issues that need to be addressed in their workplaces and we know they chose the right Union for the job.”

Workers reached out to the local union organizing department for assistance addressing inequity, favourtism and respect on the job. The new members work across nine Dynacare locations in Hamilton, Burlington, Kitchener and Niagara Falls.
