Hospitality members at Comfort Inn ratify new contract – UFCW 1006A
Ingersoll, Ont. – August 18, 2022 – UFCW 1006A members at the Comfort Inn Ingersoll recently secured a new three-year collective agreement that increases wages, benefits and more.
“With union representation members benefit from experienced negotiators that are committed to improving their working conditions,” says UFCW 1006A President Wayne Hanley. “We are proud of the negotiating committee’s efforts to achieve a fair deal for Comfort Inn Ingersoll members.”
The new contract increases wages, shoe allowance and sick days, while adding a training premium, gender neutral language and enrollment of full-time employees into the Union’s employer paid health and welfare plan, among other improvements.
