Social service members at ACL Virden secure new contract – UFCW 832
Virden, Man. – August 11, 2022 – UFCW 832 members at Association for Community Living (ACL) recently ratified a new two-year collective agreement that includes bonuses, improves benefits and more.
“These members work hard caring for the people they support, so it is imperative they get the recognition they deserve,” says UFCW 832 Negotiator, Phil Kraychuk.
Members will receive milestone bonuses ranging from $500 to $1,000 with retro pay for those already passed, in addition to a new health and wellness credit at $100. Wages are subject to a re-opener in the new contract, which will be conducted upon review of the new provincial funding model.
