2012 BDM Scholarship Winner: Vincent Gagnon, Local 509
St-Félicien, Que. – March 7, 2013 – Vincent Gagnon is one of 18 BDM Scholarships recipients for 2012. A proud member of UFCW Canada Local 509, Brother Gagnon works at the Marché B. Girard et Fils in St-Félicien, Quebec.
Every year UFCW Canada offers a total of 18 annual Beggs-Dowling-Mathieu scholarships of $1,000 each to members, their spouses, and dependants for post secondary study.
Vincent is enrolled in the human sciences program at the Cégep de St-Félicien. After graduation, Vincent plans to continue building his academic experience by studying Communications at university. Brother Gagnon’s ultimate goal is to work as a sports commentator for the RDS network.
