Calgary – March 26, 2021 – UFCW 401 member Kennedy Quantz is the latest recipient of the BDM Scholarship award, which is granted every year to eighteen eligible members and their family.

Kennedy is studying Behavioural Sciences at Ambrose University in Calgary, Alberta and has her sights set on a future that puts others first.

“As humans we are constantly changing, learning and growing which makes us such a fascinating area of study,” she says. “I am incredibly grateful for this scholarship as it will allow me to focus on finishing my last year of school.”

The UFCW Canada – BDM Scholarship offers a total of $18,000 in scholarships to UFCW Canada members and their families and is one of more than 25 union scholarships available to members and their families every year, totaling more than $300,000 in support.
