Toronto – January 24, 2019 – More than 7,000 hard-working and proud UFCW Local 12R24 members at Beer Store locations across Ontario need your help to protect good union jobs in the province. 

The Doug Ford government has launched an online poll about beer sales in Ontario. Changing how and where beer is sold throughout the province could have significant consequences for The Beer Store, and the jobs of 12R24 members. It could also lead to higher beer prices for consumers, as well as lost tax revenue that funds education, health care, and other vital public services.
