Last call for Local 12R24 scholarship!
Campbellville, Ont. – September 24, 2018 – The deadline for the UFCW 12R24 scholarship is rapidly approaching on October 1st, so last call for Beer Store members looking to cash-in on their local union’s scholarship for members in a post-secondary program.
The UFCW 12R24 Scholarship is open to all members who work at The Beer Store in Ontario and offers two scholarships of $1,000 each. To apply for the UFCW 12R24 Scholarship, check out the local’s application page. From Cornwall to Kenora, and Windsor to Kapuskasing, UFCW 12R24 members work hard at Beer Store distribution centres and numerous retail locations, providing safe and responsible delivery to virtually every community in the province.
Beer Store members also make possible one of Canada’s longest running and most successful bottle recycling programs.
Plus, UFCW 12R24 members have raised millions of dollars for Leukemia research through their annual bottle drive.
