Members at Affinity Credit Union achieve new contract – UFCW 1400
Hudson Bay, Sask. – May 22, 2018 – UFCW Canada Local 1400 members working at the Affinity Credit Union in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan have ratified a new collective agreement that improves contract language, job classifications, and more.
The Affinity Credit Union is a financial cooperative that serves over 130,000 members across Saskatchewan.
Highlights of the new two-year agreement include:

The addition of ‘gender identity’ to non-discrimination language;

Reimbursement for the Mutual Funds Administration Fee;

An additional personal day off with the ability to use this day when absent from work due to inclement weather;

Updated job classifications – including Sales & Service Representative and Personal Banker – that will result in wage increases of 7, 8, and 21 percent over the term of the contract; and
-
Retroactive variable pay bonuses.
