Montreal – December 8, 2015 – UFCW Canada Local 501 members at Demix Béton, a division of CRH Canada Group Inc., have ratified the tentative agreement reached between their bargaining committee and the employer. The new collective agreement runs until 2020.

The new contract is retroactive to May 1, 2015. The members work as concrete mixer operators at the company’s Quebec City location. Some of the gains in the new agreement include wage increases of 2% in 2015, 2.2% in 2016, 2.3% in 2017, 2.5% in 2018 and 2.5% in 2019, as well as an increase in the evening and night shift premium.
